The Farm

We are a family farm located near Duluth, Minnesota raising a small flock of purebred Corriedale and Corriedale-cross rainbowsheep (Lincoln, Romney and CVM). We sell award winning artisan fleece and quality market lambs to the public.

We have 28 acres of beautiful rolling pasture, a small woodlot with a pond bordering the Rocky Run Creek in Solway Township just south and west of Duluth, Minnesota. We have grown fruits and vegetables for market in the past. In recent years we have focused our work on raising a small flock of Corriedale sheep. We harvest the wool to sell to handspinners and fiber artists in the spring and sell market lambs locally in the fall.

The farm has a long history here in the Munger community. At the start of the 20th century the young Sandberg family moved here, cleared the land and began a small family diary operation. This farm’s barn is one of the few in the area that survived the historic Cloquet forest fire of 1918.
